Day Entry Includes: Trail fees, finisher Medal (a branded wine glass); chill zone with live music on the lawns including a beer tent, gin garden, sensational wine tasting & pop up restaurant offering a delicious runners breakfast. You’ll also have fully stocked water-points, exclusive access to well-marked trails, medical support and a true Wild African Experience! After the trail, participants can look forward to a complimentary wine tasting at the “Pace Village” care of “Private Tasting”.

Merchandise: We have a stunning & exclusive running top available with a combination of microfibre & techno lining panels ensuring a feather light high tech garment with great breathability. This is a uniquely designed & great quality Tee especially made Soul2Sole – Sibani, available in a men’s or ladies cut as well as a racer back option. Please note pre-orders need to be in by 26th March in order to collect on the day & sizing cannot be exchanged. Note: Day entries will be arriving at a different gate to the main Sibani Lodge where the “Pace Village” will be situated so please watch out for the pre-amble & batch info which will be sent out a few days prior
Registration: 45-60 minutes prior to batch start, beginning from 06:00am (first briefing at 06h50 sharp for A Batch)
Lucky Draw: As our ethos is around Experiences, we don’t do prizes for placings however a lucky draw with some great prizes will take place after the run so everyone has a chance
Timings: Runners are required to record their individual time using their own devices if required. Once you cross the finish line please drop your wrist band into the bucket for our virtual lucky draw and write your timing down at the timing zone if needed for points. Timings will be published on our website in the week for Discovery Vitality Point submissions etc
General Information Venue:
Nestled within the breathtaking landscape of Mt Savannah Nature Reserve, Sibani Lodge stands as a testament to South Africa’s rich heritage and untamed beauty. This 2000 hectare game reserve is home to buffalo, giraffe, kudu, red hartebeest, impala, zebra as well as a variety of birdlife. Sibani Lodge takes pride in being a guardian of the Cradle of Humankind’s legacy, where ancient history and modern comfort coalesce. Each corner of the lodge reflects a deep respect for the land’s historical significance, providing guests with an opportunity to connect with the spirit of this extraordinary landscape.
This wilderness lodge welcomes all searching for a soul retreat and a place where nature reigns supreme so we invite you to embark on a journey that not only rejuvenates the soul but also pays homage to the rich tapestry of human history woven into the very fabric of the Cradle of Humankind.
Medals: Participants will receive a branded wine glass at the finish line, along with a complimentary wine tasting after the trail (for those 18 yrs & older). You can also look forward to a chill zone with live music on the lawns including a beer tent, gin garden, wine tasting & pop up restaurant for those who want to enjoy a relaxed morning in the bush.
*** Due to the nature of the venue & game rangers on site, there is a strict 03h30 hour cut off from batch one, ie 10h30. If we feel any runners might not make it, we will be rerouting you.
Routes: The routes will all be well marked & signed by Wild Africa Experiences, so a somewhat challenging but relaxed morning out and we’ve rated the route 3.5/5 (5 being the most difficult). There will be two water-points, and for those doing the 15 & 20km routes, a signature sky bar with magnificent views & a quick taster of what to expect at the finish line. Walkers / hikers are more than welcome to join us on the 5km & 10km routes & we cater for all fitness levels ranging from 5km to a challenging 20km. Great news is that we’re still carving out some virgin trails so GPX files will only be available closer to the time.

There will be No Refunds due to rain or lightning cancellation
No licence is necessary to take part in the run
Minimum age of 18 years to partake in any of the wine tastings
All athletes participate at their own risk
Toilet facilities will be available at the start / finish

Refreshments table available at various points including water / coke
Late entries on the day will be charged an additional R30 per person (subject to availability should the event not be sold out)

Your safety is our number one concern. Whilst so much has changed, some things will thankfully still stay the same. We will continue with our exclusive & intimate trail runs in some hidden away valley and runners can be rest assured that your safety remains our absolute priority.
Withdrawal, Substitutions, Roll-overs:
All entry fees for the Event are non-refundable / non-transferable under all circumstances permitted by law, including, but not limited to, cancellation of the Event for any reason including withdrawal of your participation in the Event, or change in the date, nature, or format of the Event.
7 days and more prior to the event, refunds or roll-overs are permissible at the sole discretion of the organizer and based on medical grounds only. For refunds, an administration fee of 25% will be applicable. Alternatively, roll overs are valid for a maximum of 3 months with a maximum of one date change. If the participant does not, for any reason utilize the entry within 3 months, their entry will no longer be valid nor refunded.
0-6 days prior to the event, NO refunds or roll-overs are allowed, however substitutions are permissible at any time leading up to the event. Kindly ensure you email us on explore@wildafricaexperiences.co.za in order to assist further.
You acknowledge that the Event may be cancelled or changed due to government directives, severe weather or any other factors that may be considered to threaten the safety of participants as determined by the Event organiser in its sole discretion. We have always strived to deliver on each & every event but due to the nature of our activities, some natural elements are out of our hands. Unfortunately, there is a no refund policy on bookings due to rain or lightening.
